Monday – Mommy’s Savings

Guess how much I paid for all this?

I only paid $0.43. Yes! FORTY-THREE CENTS!!! I added a copy of the coupon below if you don’t believe me.

I had bought Huggies pull ups at Rite Aide two weeks ago and each package got me $5 in up rewards. I saved it for when I needed something else.

$2.22 Kellogs Raisin Bran
$2.22 Kellogs Raisin Bran cinnamon almond
$2.99 M&M cookies
$1.00 Honey Nut Cheerios single cup
$1.00 Honey Nut Cheerios single cup
$1.00 Special K single cup
10.43
MINUS $10.00 in coupons
TOTAL = $0.43

Now if I had planned ahead I could have brought coupons for the items I bought and and got even more products for a low price.

Go to Hip2Save for great store lists and coupons, the site tells you just how to save money and gets tons of groceries for extraordinarily low prices.

  1. doing a happy dance for you! i love couponing scores like this! when I get juicy savings, i'm always frustrated that my hubby doesn't act like it's a huge deal!susan@thishappymom.com

  2. Well done! I love Rite Aids wellness club deals and using the +up receipts…except when my husband "cleans" the car and throws away the contents of my super duper receipt/coupon holder thingy. :/

  3. OH NO.. throwing away coupons is a tragedy, punishable by death. I have a big coupon binder, its hard work keeping it up to date, but so worth it. I think when I walk into the store with it, the cashiers cringe, LOL.

  4. when I first stared I was so over whelmed. Hip2save.com is a great site to help you, she has videos on coupon binders and how to shop in stores using coupons. I found it so helpful getting started. Her videos are simple and concise, which is what I needed.
