So I learned a neat trick from my Mother in Law, which she learned from her mother in law….here goes….

Can you see what she is doing?

We were boiling raviolis but also wanted to reheat the pasta from the day before. So instead of microwaving it….she put pasta in a pot, put the collander on top of the pasta, and poured the raviolis and water into the collander.

Now, the pasta was heating up and with the hot water…wasn’t getting dried out. Neat trick right? Saves a a bunch of steps and saves energy. I WILL be using this trick over and over…
