It’s Quiet Right Now

As I write my Thankful Thursday post, it’s Wednesday night and everyone is either sleeping or relaxing. A perfect time to write my post.

I’m thankful that my son is sleeping in his room, probably dreaming about dinosaurs.

I’m thankful that Balboa is sleeping quietly on the couch.

I’m thankful that Nemo is happy and playful in his tank, at least I hope he is.

I’m thankful I have a job, a full time job, in September.

I’m thankful that my mother proof read a reading report for me (don’t worry I changed all identifying details).

I’m thankful that son is transitioning into his “fours classroom” at daycare with no problems.

I’m thankful that I am alive and living this wonderful life. It may not be what I expected, but I am pretty darn happy.

    • I feel your pain, he’s usally up EARLY on Fridays the day I go to work later in the morning…I’d love to sleep till 6 just for once, LOL

    • thanks, I was laid off for budget cuts from my teaching position years ago. Now I’m working for a similar school and went from part time to full time!! WOOOHOOO

  1. Congrats on your job — so exciting!
Glad to hear little guy is transitioning well into 4 year old class. We have done preschool at home, and for my daughter, I know she will be great at kindergarten… My little guy??? I’m crossing my fingers when the time comes! 🙂

    • thanks babe, Glad they like me and want to keep me another year at full time hours. I really have to step up my game with Dino at home and make sure he’s ready for kindergarten. This is where my reading specialist skills will come in handy now.
With all the awesome and educational activities you do with them, he’ll be more than ready for kindergarten

    • No you didn’t miss it babe. I was part time then got full time, but didn’t really say anything. Then I was told last week that I would be back in Sep!

Would love to read your thoughts
