Who doesn’t LOVE Sloppy Joes?

After chatting on Facebook There’s Just One Mommy and my friend Carlin, they were both having sloppy Joes one night. I suddenly was craving it as well…so the next night that is what we had…

I made mine a bit differently

  • ground pork, my BIL Phil once told me that pork doesn’t get greasy like meat and he was right.
  • frozen spinach…Dino will think it’s the same spices that are in his hummus….(Yes, I lied to him and I’d do it again)
  • added the canned mix after the pork was mostly cooked

Looks so good, right? with sauceI thought Dino would only eat half the sandwich.

sandwichDino not only stuffed his mouth…

He ate the WHOLE thing.
He finished those last few bites. A full Dino is a HAPPY Dino.

  1. Oh this is awesome and I know the feeling when they eat it all and then some. Definitely makes me happy!! If you can definitely link this up with us tomorrow for the PinCentive Blog Hop, because it is going to be huge from what Elena who is running it over at Cropped Stories believes!! 🙂

    • I buy the hummus that’s already mixed, he loves the artichoke and olive one and the sun dried tomato one. they have dark green seasonings and small olives. So he easily fell for that trick with the spinach.

I’d be too afraid to spinach in the hummus, since it might make it waterry.

  3. My family loves sloppy joes – and I have never thought to add spinach! They like it, so it won’t be a problem 🙂 Definitely trying it next sloppy joe’s night!
