I usually stink at making beef stew, so I decided to just keep it simple and it worked. I cooked the beef in the slow cooker the day before (coated raw beef in store brand pancake mix then put in slow cooker with chicken broth and seasoning). I let it sit in the fridge over night.
The next night I seasoned and baked the veggies in the oven. I heated the beef and broth in individual bowls in the microwave and added the cooked veggies.
If I do add noodles, I will cook them separately as well to ensure it keeps the same texture.
