I LOVE my 20lb kettle bell, it is definitely going to build major muscle. I NEED to get to a gym and work on machines though…perhaps if I can save some money and find some time. Time and money…why are you always causing me problems?
I want to be healthier and stronger for Dino. I want to be able to carry him around for longer periods. He cried the other day that I don’t pick him and carry him around anymore. My heart broke. So when he sees me exercising I tell him I want to be stronger to carry him around. He may be growing up, but he still wants to be my little boy.
I recently put on a pair of size 16 pants and was shocked they fit. Now I know sizes of pants are all different, but these were pants I haven’t worn since before Dino was born. I tried on some dresses I have…WOW…I can’t wait to start wearing them.
I still have lots of jiggly flab…but when I flex it’s almost impossible to pull at the fat. (except my arm…but the flab decreases when I flex) That all has to be a good sign, right?
I even got my first compliment at work…someone noticed how thin I look. When they asked if I was dieting, I replied that I am eating healthy and strength training. Strong is the new skinny.
Those calves are all muscle!!!! Aren’t they amazing? My upper legs are mostly muscle, my thighs and butt are getting more muscular. My biceps are growing even bigger and my triceps are SLOWLY growing.
Sorry about the vacuum and dog bone in the background. I had to take a selfie and Dino was asking a million questions about Jurassic Park…as if he’s never seen it before.

1. I can now do three sets of 10 push ups (on my knees). For me that is big, since when I started three was the most I could do. I WANT TO DO 5 push ups on my toes.
2. I want to be able to do 10 correct burpees with ease and not feel like a sweating klutz
