I recently climbed up 70 flights of stairs using the stair master…pretty darn amazing, right????
My personal trainer kicked my butt, or rather I should say arms. She introduced me to ‘Twenty-ones’ and they are evil. Basically twenty-ones are 7 half reverse bicep curls, 7 half bicep curls, 7 full bicep curls…you repeat three times. The key is to use a smaller weight…because you are doing 21 curls…it’s a killer…I know my muscles are growing, but they hurt for two and half days…LOL
I decided that I want to do the triathlon next May. I CAN DO IT. I WILL DO IT.
I am so motivated to participate in the triathlon. A mother at the Little Gym where Dino had sports skills commented on how good I look and said she did the triathlon. She is a tiny woman and she did…she smiled at me and said “Strong is the new skinny.” I almost jumped on her with joy.
Then my friend’s sister participated in the triathlon for two years with her husband. She gave me some great tips and ideas. I am so motivated.
I told Tony and he said he and Dino would be waiting at the finish line for me…that right there just motivated me even more. I have a whole year to prepare.
