We used rubber bands to decorate our eggs…Yes we used plant and herb based dyes for our eggs! They came out pretty darn cool! Then Dino drew on them.

The Easter bunny did give him some chocolate, but it was organic NON-GMO mint truffles..he LOVES anything with mint. He also got money, markers, glo sticks, a key chain and LOTS of Legos. Of course all his grandparents got him Easter gifts too, but we can’t list everything!

  1. Tilapia is a favorite around our house as well. Never thought to put it in a quesadilla though; such a great idea! And you can’t go wrong with spaghetti and meatballs with kids!

  2. Looks great! It’s such a good feeling when your kids eat what you make – especially when it’s healthy, good stuff! My kids ate salmon patties last night & loved them. Hooray for good meals!

  3. Hi Karen,
Everything always looks so good at your house! Thanks so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday and hope you are having a great weekend.

  4. Yum! You know, my littles will not eat fish, but they’ll eat sushi! I’ll have to try sticking fish in a quesadilla and see if they like it.
They HATE shrimp, we live in South Carolina. The shrimp here is GOOD.
    Thanks for sharing with us.

    • let me know if the quesadillas work…Dino had no idea he was eating fish…LOL.
I bet the shrimp is good, I wish I could have shrimp a few times a night.
