The Runaway Bunny

Another classic that AJ now wants to read all the time.

Amazon Summary:

A little bunny keeps running away from his mother in an imaginative and imaginary game of verbal hide-and-seek; children will be profoundly comforted by this lovingly steadfast mother who finds her child every time.

The Runaway Bunny, first published in 1942 and never out of print, has indeed become a classic. Generations of readers have fallen in love with the gentle magic of its reassuring words and loving pictures.

AJ’s Review:

The bunny wants to runaway and his mommy keeps finding him. She loves him. My mommy loves me. She will always find me. She keeps me safe.

Mommy’s Review:

Another classic book that teaches kids that their parents will always be there for them. Always find them, always protect them. What a comforting book! Besides that the artwork is amazing…it captures a child’s imagination of what it would look like each time the Mommy Bunny went to find her son.
