Split Pea and Ham Soup
~ Ham Bone with lots of ham still attached (from my parents )
~ split peas
~ diced onions
~ cut garlic
~ turmeric and Italian seasoning
~ rosemary and parsley
~ place ham bone on bottom
~ layer all ingredients on top
~ pour in amount of water of your choice.
~ cook on low for 7 hours
I’m trying to get AJ to dunk bread in his soup, but that is a losing battle. He just doesn’t get it or like it. He is missing out for sure.
There is nothing better than a quick and easy meal. Love when I can just throw in all my ingredients and let the slow cooker do all the work.
